Anáil Membership and Registration
Anáil membership is open to nurses registered with NMBI, who have a responsibility for patients with respiratory conditions or have an interest in respiratory nursing.
Anáil Membership is runs from January to December each year. Members will be reminded to register in November of each year.
Membership closes for a short period from 31st January to 31st March each year. We are unable to process any membership during this time. Regardless of when you join Anáil each year, your membership will expire at the end of that year.
The annual membership fee to join Anáil is €40. Failure to register and pay the Anáil membership fee each year will result in the member’s name being deleted from the current membership list.

Anáil membership also entitles you to affiliate membership to the Irish Thoracic Society (ITS) at a discounted rate of €20 per year. You will need to register for Anáil to avail of the discounted ITS affiliate membership. By joining the ITS, you can also apply for dual membership with ERS (European Respiratory Society) for €50.
